Ada Elizabeth (Liz) Lee Conner of Dallas, Texas, passed away March 23, 2025. She lived a long and blessed life and died at age 98. She was born in Wylam, Alabama on January 10, 1927, to H.W. Lee and Mila Barganier Lee. She was raised by her father and stepmom, Vera Lee. On December 10, 1948, she married the love of her life, George Donald (Don) Conner. Liz was a loving wife and mother, who worked along with and supported Don in every way. She and Don were married for 49 wonderful years. Her family was a high priority, and her love for Christ was evident to all that knew and met her. She was a prayer warrior, who always reminded her family members that she prayed for each of them every day. Liz loved working in her huge garden with Don, and especially enjoyed cooking homestyle meals for church fellowships, friends, and family gatherings using food grown in her garden. Her favorite specialties were black eye peas, cornbread, and banana pudding. Liz loved playing card games such as Skip-bo and Spades but was particularly difficult to beat at her favorite game, Forty-Two. Liz is preceded in death by her husband, Don Conner and her son, Jerry Don Conner. She is survived by her sister Frances Lee Conner, her sons, Larry Joe Conner (wife Doranda) and Garry Lee Conner (wife Debbie), and daughter in-law Chris Conner. Grandchildren: Jeremy Conner (Mindi Conner), Taylor Conner Parker (Tim Parker), Jana Conner (Amanda Hawkins), Kristin Conner Rue (David Rue), Emily Conner, and Eric Conner. Great grandchildren: Ashton Hill, Carson Parker, Caleb Conner, Raylee Conner, Skylar Rue, and Kamryn Rue. Great great grandchild: Jaxtyn Hill, and numerous other family members who loved her dearly and will truly miss her. There will be a Graveside Service Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas at 1:00 PM. The family will host a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00am in the Christian Care Center Chapel in Mesquite, Texas.
