Alfred "Jesse" Trussell, Jr., 60, of Forney passed away on April 24, 2024. He was born on January 28, 1964 in Waxahachie, TX to Alfred Jesse Trussell, Sr. and Freda Trussell. Jesse was a country man who loved his family. He enjoyed fishing and picking his guitar. He would play his guitar for hours serenading his wife, Leona. His greatest treasure on this earth was his many grandchildren and loved being their "Pepaw". Known as a "jack of all trades" he could fix just about anything. Jesse proudly served in the United States Army. Jesse is survived by his children: Crystal Shelton and husband Bubba of Forney, TX, JB Malone of OR, Chad Simpson of ID, Brian Taylor of AL, Julie Malone of OR, Charlotte Simpson of CA; brother, Darren Trussell of CA; sister, Darla Rainer of Waco, TX; 28 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Freda Trussell; and loving wife, Leona Trussell. Family to have a private memorial at a later date.
