Anthony "Tony" Joseph Piazza, 85, of Caddo Mills, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Dallas, Texas, Tony lived a life defined by his devotion to his family, his country, and the many people who were fortunate enough to know him. Tony proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, carrying that same sense of patriotism and honor throughout his life. He was a true family man and a respected gentleman who was loved by everyone he met. Tony never met a stranger and always seemed to have a story to tell. His warmth, humor, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Tony was a devoted Texas Rangers fan and enjoyed being involved in little league baseball as a coach. He loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and was especially fond of dogs. Above all, Tony treasured his family and the time he spent with them. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather (pop), great-grandfather (pop), brother, and friend. Pop is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqulyn Piazza; daughters, Melissa "Missy" Piazza and June Summers of Colorado, and Suzanne Ayo and Jim of Caddo Mills, Texas; son, Joe Piazza and Stacy of Garrison, Texas; grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Katy, Trey, Austin, Hope, Devin, Dylan, and Dawson; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Borders, Rose Mary Piazza, and Mary Ann Piazza; brother, Bill Wilcher; and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Antoinette Piazza and John Piazza; and his sister, Fannie Marie Fontana. Tony leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, patriotism, and countless stories that will continue to be shared by those who knew and loved him. His memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come. There will be a "family led" Rosary at 2:00 pm and a Mass at 2:30 pm on September 8th, 2026 at St. Williams Catholic Church, 4300 Stuart St., Greenville, TX 75401.
