Arthur Earl Taylor, 76, of Blue Ridge, Texas, went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 23, 2023. Earl was born to Nora Carter Taylor and Earl William Taylor on July 21, 1947. Earl grew up in Simms, Texas, and moved to Canton, Texas, in his early years. He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard from 1967 – 1969. Earl worked on the railroad, and later on went to work as an Environmental Supervisor at Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point, Texas, for 15 years before he retired. Earl was a selfless, loving, and simple family man. His pride and joy were his wife of 49 years, 2 children, and 3 grandchildren. Earl is survived by his children: Jason Taylor and wife Laura, Jennifer Taylor Tredway and husband Shawn; grandchildren: Attis Taylor, Landry Taylor, and Lyra Taylor; sisters: Mary Montgomery, and JoJo Jones; nieces and nephews: Julie Eddleman, Christi Hammonds, Susan Tanner, Robert Taylor, Joey Taylor, Kevin Delbert, and Nicole Chatham. Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Taylor; parents, Earl and Nora Taylor; and brother, R.V. Taylor. A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 1, at 2:00 PM at Lynch Funeral Service, located in Greenville, Texas. Carl Casey will be leading the service.
