Obituary

Barbara Ann Finch of Caddo Mills, Texas, born in Claridge, Pennsylvania July 30, 1961, will be remembered as an energetic, kind, and deeply caring person, someone who would do anything to help those around her. Her generosity and compassion touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on family, friends, and anyone who came around her. She was a proud member of the United States Army, serving her country with honor and dedication. Her strength, resilience, and sense of duty were evident not only in her service, but throughout every aspect of her life. It was there that she met her husband of 40 years, Ronald Finch. Together, they modeled a relationship rooted in commitment, resilience, and growth. Through life's ups and downs, they showed what it means to grow together. As a mother, she created a home filled with love, stability, and joy. No matter the circumstances, she ensured her family always had what they needed. She instilled strength, teaching them to stand up for themselves while always treating others with kindness and respect. The memories she created will be cherished forever, from camping trips and summer road trips to Pennsylvania, to sleeping in tents during thunderstorms, running from skunks, cooking pizzas over an open fire, and spending long weekends at softball tournaments. Her love for Christmas brought a special magic to the home, with decorations and the tree always up by Thanksgiving. These moments built a childhood filled with love, laughter, and gratitude. Through her actions, she showed what it meant to be a good mother, and demonstrated that a mother's love is constant, enduring even through life's mistakes and challenges. As a grandmother, her love only grew deeper. She adored her grandson, Kellen McDaniel, with every part of her being, always putting his happiness first. From taking him to and from school to creating special memories through camping trips, she poured the same love and intention into his life that she had given her own children. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Finch; her daughter, Nichole (Kevin) McDaniel; her son, Jerimiah Finch; and her grandson, Kellen McDaniel. She is also survived by her brothers and sister, Mike Reger, Keith (Diane) Reger, Ken (Beth) Reger, Lynn (Ken) Holderman, and Robert Reger. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Reger, and her mother, Helen Reger. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the memories that will forever be held close in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and endlessly remembered. Visitation Saturday, April 25, 2026 1:00 PM Lynch Funeral Home 2203 Gilmer Street Caddo Mills,TX 75135
