Betty Marie Eastup Schwene passed away on November 16, 2023. She was born on August 31, 1936, in Cumby, Texas; the eighth of nine children of Admah Eastup and Lottie Goodman. Betty was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Schwene on March 2, 2011. Betty is survived by her son, Rick Schwene and wife Cindy; daughters, Sharon Baker, Lori Geisheimer and partner Kent Renshaw, Julie Strother and husband Scott, and Susan Miller. Also surviving are her sister, Wanda Ayersman, grandchildren Ryan Schwene and wife Colette, Wesley Clark and wife, Kiersten, Amanda Cole and husband Aaron, Megan Landrith and husband Clinton, Thomas Baker, Cody Baker and partner Amanda Zambrano, Matthew Geisheimer and partner Ana, Michael Massay and wife Ashley, Ian Massay and partner K.C. Hitchcock, Morgan Selvaggi and husband Joe, and Caylen Bell,13 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty loved her caregivers, and the family appreciates their dedication to her, especially Tina, Jenny, Brandy, Bailey, and Whitney. Betty's memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 25, at 2:00 PM at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas. Chaplain Tommy Morgan will be officiating the service.
