It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Jean Topping announces that she finished her faithful race April 23rd 2021. Betty was born September 15, 1938 in Dallas Texas to Roy B. Westbrook and Onie Lee Culp Westbrook. On April 20,1956 she married the love of her life, Floyd Eugene Topping. They enjoyed many years traveling together. They were married until his death in August of 1999. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Greenville. Betty interests were attending church, reading her Bible, spending time with her family, playing bingo, traveling, and crafting. Betty is survived by her daughter Donna Scoggins and husband Ricky, son Gary Topping and wife Patrisha, all of Quinlan. Grandchildren: Jennifer Overstreet and husband Randy, Amy Stovall and husband Brian all of Greenville; Jason Scoggins, Jessica Topping, Jeremy Topping, all of Quinlan; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd and a child, Royce E. Topping. A celebration service of her life will be held at 10:30 am Thursday April 29th 2021 at First Assembly of God in Greenville. Pastor Brent Grissom officiating.
