Bobby Joe Wooldridge, Sr., 81 of Caddo Mills, Texas passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 21, 1941 to Edgar Paul and Mamie Ruth (Fisher) Wooldridge in Dallas, Texas. Bobby lived a well rounded life. He loved the Lord and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Caddo Mills where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed his work of owning and operating Wooldridge Feed and Ranch Supply. He was the manager of the Caddo Mills Cotton Gin. He served as a member of the Caddo Mills ISD board. He was a big supporter of the Caddo Mills FFA. Mostly Bobby was a family man. He deeply loved his family and treasured spending time with each family member. Bobby leaves lasting and wonderful memories for his family and friends. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Gwendolyn (Rogers) Wooldridge; sons, Robbie Wooldridge and wife Tami, David Wooldridge, B.J. Wooldridge and wife Miranda; grandchildren, Chelsea Richards, Brooke Wooldridge, Brett Wooldridge, Colt Wooldridge, Eli Wooldridge; brother, Jim Wooldridge; sister, Suzy Ward; along with a host of loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Vickie Wooldridge. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Caddo Mills with Rev. Steven Richardson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Chisolm Cemetery in McLendon—Chisolm, Texas.
