Brenda Joyce (Davis) McBride, age 76, of Josephine, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2026. She was born on February 20, 1950, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Jimmy and Rosalee (Stafford) Davis. Brenda was formerly of Callisburg, Texas. Brenda was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother. She was the loving wife of Forest McBride for 60 years and was also his greatest supporter and business partner in their skydiving business. She took great pride in being a mother and grandmother and treasured the time spent with her family. Brenda had a special love for cats and was especially devoted to her three beloved cats, Crackle, Chloe, and Red. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Forest McBride; daughters, Kimberly Joyce McBride of Josephine, Texas, and Misty Morrison of Gainesville, Texas; grandchildren, Valerie, Chelsie, Maverick, and Jasmine; six great-grandchildren; sister, Joy Lowrey and husband Lynn of Paris, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Rosalee Davis; daughter, Sheila Lambert; and brother, James H. Davis. Brenda leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and the love of her family, friends, and her beloved cats. Her family will honor her life with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
