Bruce Edward Kennedy 60 of Paris, Texas passed away on January 26, 2023. He was born on August 1, 1962 to Forrest Benjamin Kennedy and Phyllis Louise (Moore) Alston in Columbus, Ohio. Bruce lived a well-rounded life. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. He enjoyed his work as a diesel mechanic. Bruce was a big fan of drag racing. He adored not only watching the races, he also loved participating in them as well. Most of all Bruce loved and cherished his pet Mastiff "Titan." He took Titan with him every place he could. Bruce leaves lasting and wonderful memories for his family and friends. Bruce is survived by sons, Bruce Edward Kennedy, Jr. and his wife Crystal, Sean Kennedy; grandsons, Alexander Kennedy, Ethan Kennedy; mother, Phyllis Louise (Moore) Alston; step-mother, Tommie Kennedy; brothers, James Kennedy and his wife Georgiana, Larry Kennedy and his wife Pamela; sister, Leyia Kennedy Streefkirk; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Forrest Benjamin Kennedy. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 27, at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas.
