Carl Preston Bowers, 74, passed away on February 11, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1951, to his beloved parents Joseph Bowers and Hazel Bowers in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Carl had a well-maintained career as a custodian at the local college, TX A&M-Commerce, Walker Muffler, and Esco. In his free time, his deep love for the outdoors gave him a prominent passion for the sport of fishing. He is survived by his brothers: Emmerson Bowers and Myrtie Kay, Willard Bowers, and Julian Bowers; as well as a host of extended family members and cherished friends. Carl is preceded by his parents, his first wife Alexis Bowers, and his second wife Mary Bowers. His memory lives on in all those blessed enough to have crossed his path.
