Carol Ann McMellon, 67, of Gladewater passed away on August 23, 2021. She was born on November 4, 1953 to Clarence and Illa Mae Ingram in Greenville. Carol never met a stranger. She was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and loved being a grandmother. She fed your soul through her kitchen. Carol is survived by her husband, Charlie McMellon; sons: Michael Hines and wife April, Jason Ayotte and wife Stephanie Pierson, Jeffrey Ayotte and wife Jessica; grandchildren: Caitlin Hines, Katelynn Burton, Hailey Beason and husband Preston, Hannah Alvarez and husband Ray, Miley Ayotte, Rhette Ayotte and Jaedyn Ayotte; great-grandchildren: Marshall Hines, Ella Mae Beason; sister, Nancy Jo Taft and husband Richard; nephews: Steven Fredrick and husband Elias, Gary Fredrick and wife Holly, Allen Fredrick; niece, Kyla Mae Fredrick and a host of loving friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. There will be a visitation on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills.
