Obituary

There are some people who walk through this life and leave footprints behind. And then there are people like Chelsea who leave pieces of their heart in everyone who had the privilege of loving them. Chelsea was born on July 27, 1992. She was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. But to truly know Chelsea was to know that her family was her whole heart. Chelsea loved her husband, Ethan, with the kind of love that was meant to last a lifetime. Together they built a life that was filled with the things Chelsea loved most—being together, being outside, making memories with friends and family, and raising their babies. Forrest was Chelsea's little mini me. At four years old, she carries so much of her mama in her. The resemblance wasn't only in the way she looked, but in the little pieces of Chelsea that could be seen in her personality, her expressions, and the way she loved. Chelsea adored watching her little girl grow and was so proud of the beautiful person Forrest is becoming. And then came Fletcher, her sweet, wild baby boy. Chelsea often referred to him as Feral Fletch. At three years old, Fletcher brought a different kind of joy to his mama's heart—the kind that keeps you on your toes, makes you laugh, and fills your days with stories you'll never forget. He was her wild little adventure buddy, and Chelsea loved every bit of him. She loved her children fiercely. She was the mama who wanted to be there for the little things, because she knew those little things were actually the big things—the moments that become the memories children carry forever. Chelsea loved a simple, beautiful life. She loved hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. Some of her happiest memories were made outside with her family and friends, where there was no need for anything more than time together. Chelsea was selfless in a way that is rare. She thought about other people before herself. She noticed when someone needed help. She cared deeply. She gave freely. She loved without keeping score. She was the person who would check on you again and again and again. The person who would remember the little things. The person who made you feel like you mattered. And she did all of it without asking for anything in return. Chelsea's absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. Ethan has lost his wife and best friend. Forrest has lost the mama who was her first example of what love looks like. Fletcher has lost the mama who loved his wild little spirit more than words could ever explain. However, Chelsea's greatest gift to her family remains - a lifetime of love in the years she was earthside. Forrest and Fletcher may someday be too young to remember every conversation, every hug, every bedtime, every adventure, or every ordinary day they shared with their mama. But they will never have to wonder whether they were loved. They were loved completely. They were loved unconditionally. They were loved by a mama who thought they hung the moon. And they will carry that love with them for the rest of their lives. Chelsea leaves behind husband, Ethan Morris, daughter, Forrest, son Fletcher, parents Mike and Tanya Graves, mom Holly Reed, brother Cory and wife Kimberly, sister Nicole, Nieces and nephews, River and Rory Graves, Lucy Bell, Delilah and Kensington Ponce, Axie, Rylie, and Jimmy Burks, Judson and Bear McCleskey, and friends whose lives were made better simply because she was in them. Each person who loved Chelsea carries their own memories of her—the laugh, the smile, the conversations, the adventures, the kindness, and the countless little moments that now mean more than ever. Her life was far too short. There are still birthdays she should have celebrated, Christmas mornings she should have experienced, camping trips she should have taken, fish she should have caught, deer she should have hanging on the wall, and countless ordinary nights she should have spent loving on her babies and husband. There are moments ahead that will hurt because she isn't there to share them. Chelsea's love did not end on September 3rd. It simply became something we will continue carry through out our lifetime on earth until we see her again. We do not understand the void left in our hearts but we trust that the God who gave Chelsea her beautiful heart is the same God who will hold her family now. She was the best wife. The best mama. The best sister. The best daughter. The best friend. She was thoughtful. She was selfless. She was loving. The family asks that you help keep her memory alive through your own acts of kindness. "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her." - Proverbs 31:28 A Funeral Service to honor Chelsea will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Vansickle Baptist Church in Greenville, Texas.
