Crista Nicole Tipton, 39, passed away on April 25, 2026. She was born on August 10, 1986, in Louisiana to Alva Lynn Meshell and Kelly Craig. Crista was a devoted homemaker, a loving wife, and an incredibly dedicated mother whose life revolved around her children. They were her greatest joy, her purpose, and the center of her world. She loved them endlessly, always putting their needs before her own, and found her deepest happiness in the love she shared with her family. Her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, where she found comfort and community. Crista had a truly kindhearted spirit and her compassion for others was evident in everything she did. She was especially passionate about advocating for autism awareness and support through her involvement with Autism Speaks, a cause that was close to her heart. In quieter moments, she found peace and joy in arts and crafts, creating things that reflected her warmth and creativity. Crista is survived by her loving husband of nearly 19 years, Joshua Tipton; her children, Taylor Lee Tipton (18), Brooklyn Rae Tipton (12), and Olivia Grace Tipton (3); her parents, Alva Lynn Meshell and Kelly Craig; her siblings, Sean Christopher Meshell (Zyanya), Alan Lloyd Alaniz, and Melina Marie Cavazzo; her brothers-in-law, Jonathan Tipton (Amanda) and Jason Tipton; her parents-in-law, Michael and Angela Tipton; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Alexandra Meshell, along with a host of extended family members and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her niece, Lilianne Hays. The family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date. The family kindly requests that donations be made to Autism Speaks in honor of Crista's memory.
