Doris McManus 85, of Greenville passed away on January 10, 2022. She was born on September 5, 1936 to Lawrence and Opal Mitchell in Caddo Mills, Texas. She retired from the Hunt County Clerk's office as the Probate Clerk. Doris was a member of Park Street Baptist Church. She is survived by her children; daughter Cherris McManus of Greenville; son Jerry McManus and wife Angie of Greenville; grandchildren: Linzy Garrett, Rebecca Nassar and husband Charlie, and Lauren McManus; 5 great grandchildren - Jackson Garrett, Parker Garrett, Makenzie Garrett, London Nassar and Whitnee Nassar. Doris is preceded in death by husband Fred McManus and parents Lawrence and Opal Mitchell. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date with an inurnment at Hart Cemetery.
