Frances Ortega, 81, of Frisco passed away on December 9, 2021. She was born on July 24, 1940 in Rio Hondo to Micaela and Jose Perez. Frances spent her many years taking care of her family as a homemaker. She loved her family and grandkids very much. She was known to enjoy cooking, shopping, scary movies and coffee. She is survived by her sons: Narciso Ortega, Jr and husband Javier, Arthur Ortega, Sr. and wife Mary, Tony Ortega and wife Carmela, Dakota Ortega; daughters: Margarita Rodriquez, Marina Rubio, Maria Ortega, Shirley Ortega, Christy Myers and husband Derek; sister, Maria De la Torre; 18 grandchildren and a many great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will follow service at IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills.
