Georgia Lee Tidwell, 59 of Dallas, Texas passed away on July 18, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on February 21, 1964 to John Lee and Lela Fay (Hopkins) Tidwell in Dallas, Texas. Georgia graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, Texas. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Skillman Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas. She thoroughly enjoyed and was proud of her career as a Title Processing Agent at the Corporate Office of the Credit Union of Texas for 35 years. In her management position, she was an excellent teacher of those she oversaw. She had a big heart and loved everyone she encountered; she was known to help anyone in need. Georgia liked blessing others by using her gifts for philanthropic pursuits to beautify the lives of everyone she knew. Georgia's favorite charity was Soul Church Dallas which is a Church for the homeless in Dallas, TX, located at 828 Fourth Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75226. Georgia leaves lasting and wonderful memories for everyone who knew her. Georgia is survived by her loving finance of many years, Merton Hamilton and lifetime friend, like a sister, Jeanell Ashmore; along with a host of loving friends and coworkers. Georgia is preceded in death by her parents John Lee and Lela Fay (Hopkins) Tidwell. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Skillman Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas.
