Helen Mae Garwood, 55, passed on September 13, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 5th, 1966 in Natchez, Mississippi. Helen is survived by her husband Francis Garwood; sons Christopher & wife Samantha Rushing, Trey Rushing; daughter Heather Martinez. Her mother's Frances Penney & Ellen Cole; her father Ervin Penney. Helen is also survived by her eleven siblings Caroline, Ervin, Sherri, Crystal, Roselyn, Tammy, Joseph, Johnny, Michael, Daniel & Misty. She has ten grandchildren, Alexa, Taylor, Keira, Penelope, Gunner, Warren, Wayne, Addison, Ameria & Axel; along with many nieces & nephews. Helen is preceded in death by her son in law Leonardo V. Martinez. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 3pm till 5pm at Lynch Funeral Service. The funeral service will be on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10:30am in the chapel at Lynch. A graveside service will follow in Lynch Memorial Park.
