Hunter Layne Williams, 30, of Royse City, Texas, passed unexpectedly on August 9, 2023. Hunter was born on March 12, 1993, in Dallas, Texas, to Joe and Nancy Williams Hunter is survived by his parents, Joe and Nancy Williams of Royse City; brother, Jeff Williams of Arlington; twin sister, Hailey Hartwig and husband Will of Royse City; sister, Ashley Hooper of Mesquite; grandfather, Walter Joe Williams and wife Twyla of Flower Mound; nephew, Holden Hartwig; aunt, Robbye Grissom and husband Bill of Mabank; cousin, Shannon DeVore of Dallas; second cousin, Makenna DeVore of Dallas; other family members; and a host of friends. Hunter is preceded in death by grandparents: Albert and Betty Motl, and Dorothy Lynch, and uncle David Layne Williams. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 17, at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills, starting at 1:00 PM, with Dr. Russell Rogers leading the service.
