Ismael Palacios Olalde, 40, of Rockwall, Texas, entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2026, at his home. Ismael was born on April 4, 1985, in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. A man of immense dedication, Ismael was known for having the best work ethic. He spent many years working in construction, where his hard work and reliability were unmatched. Beyond his labor, Ismael was the life of the room. A natural jokester, he had a gift for making people laugh and brightening even the heaviest of days. He possessed a truly selfless heart, always reaching out to help those facing difficult situations. Above all else, Ismael loved his children; they were his greatest pride and joy. He is survived by his beloved children, Ismael Jr. Palacios and Alexis Marie Palacios; his siblings, Ana Olalde and Marco Antonio Olalde; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Leslie Anchondo, Alan Olalde, and Christian Olalde. Ismael was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Olalde, and his brother, Gilberto Olalde. "Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him."
