James Ronald Stewart, 70, of Royse City passed away on August 20, 2024. He was born on March 10, 1954 to J.D. Stewart Sr. and Ella Mae Willingham in Greenville, Texas. James was a talented and very accomplished hairdresser for over forty-five years. He was extremely independent and was known to be a free spirit who loved to "live life in the fast lane". James loved his fast cars and will be remembered for his Thunderbird. He was such a social person and made friends wherever he went. James is survived by his brother; J.D. Stewart, Jr. and wife Dorothy, Sister; Regina Stewart Hudgeons, nieces and nephews; Benny Hudgeons III, Jerry "Bubba" Hudgeons and wife Andrea, Joe Hudgeons and Teresa Cason, Jerry Don Stewart, Melinda Hudgeons Carroll and husband Matt, Lisa Stewart Daniels and husband J.M., along with a host of loving extended family and friends. James is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy Ann Stewart Elmore. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Dry Creek Cemetery.
