Jennifer "Jen" Christine Padilla (Dunn), age 35, passed away on February 24, 2026. Born on April 9, 1990, in Dallas County, Texas, to Wade Dunn and Sherry Dunn (Price), Jen was a bright light from the very beginning — strong in spirit, compassionate at heart, and determined in all she pursued. Jen graduated as Valedictorian from Ford High School in 2008, a reflection of her dedication and drive. She went on to build a meaningful career in nursing, serving faithfully at Hunt Regional Hospital for twelve years. Through her leadership, commitment, and passion for caring for others, she later became Director of Oncology at Christus Health in Tyler, Texas, where she continued to impact countless lives with her strength and compassion. Jen had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for life. She loved to dance, travel, and embrace new experiences. Known for her kindness and generous heart, she was selfless in the way she gave to others. A natural leader, Jen carried herself with grace and determination, and her strength inspired everyone around her. Above all, she was devoted to her family and cherished being a mother. She is survived by her beloved children, Madison Padilla and Logan Padilla; her stepchildren, Aaron Padilla and Sophia Padilla; her father, Wade Dunn; her siblings, Bradley Dunn, Scott Dunn and wife Autumn, and Valerie Dunn; her aunt, Donna Brice; her boyfriend, Johnathan Wilson; and the father of her children and dear friend, Emanuel Padilla. She also leaves behind a host of loving extended family members and many treasured friends. Jen was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Dunn (Price); her grandparents, Don and Dorothy Price; and her uncle, Jimmy Price. Jennifer's strength, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed and forever remembered. There will be a visitation held on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas.
