John Wayne Scott 61 of Dallas, Texas passed away on January 30, 2022. He was born on July 21, 1960 to Howard L. and Kathryn (Apel) Scott in Dallas, Texas. John was a graduate of Lone Oak High School in 1978. John loved being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was always interested in science, studying the way things grow. He enjoyed animals, having many different kinds of pets. In observing nature, he would draw and paint what he saw. John leaves wonderful memories for his family and friends. John is survived by his sister, Patsy Wilcox and her husband Carl; brother, Rick Prewitt and his wife Janet; nieces and nephews, Julie Baylor, Josh Baylor, Tara Hallum, Tonya Flores; nine great nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving relatives, extended family members, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
