Kathleen Karen Marinelli (Kathy) died February 20, 2022 at Hunt Memorial Hospital in Greenville at the age of 82.

Kathy was born in Uniontown, PA on November 15, 1939. She married Louis A. Marinelli, Jr. on September 27, 1958

Kathy is survived by her children Jeff Marinelli, Jay Marinelli and Diana Hughes of Greenville, TX; grandsons Jeramy Marinelli and wife, Whitney of Royse City, TX; Drew Hughes of Dallas, TX; granddaughter, Danielle Adler of New York, NY, great grandson Joseph Vara of Royse City, TX and brother, Bob Zerby and wife, Katie of Olive Branch, MS.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Gladys Zerby; husband, Louis A. Marinelli, Jr.; Son, David Marinelli; Sisters Hilda Zerby and Lois Koester as well as brothers Don Zerby, Charlie Zerby, Kenneth Zerby, Butch Zerby, Ed Zerby and Bill Zerby.

She worked on and off in the hospitality field, but her major job was being an Air Force wife and mother. Her husband, Louis, served 30 years in the US Air Force.

She loved walking, bingo, bowling, growing flowers and taking care of her neighbors. Whether it was walking a dog, taking meals or taking a trash can back to the house, she was there for her neighbors when they needed her. She was a strong woman with a kind heart.
