Kellie Jan Sorrells Hesseltine (66) of Greenville, TX passed away on July 23, 2026 at Hunt Regional Hospital in Greenville, TX after a battle with myeloma cancer. Kellie was born on July 03, 1960 in Greenville, TX to Jimmy and Rochelle Sorrells. She graduated from Greenville High School in the class of 1979. She attended East Texas State University and received a BS degree in Computer Science with a minor in Math. She worked for E-Systems, Raytheon and L-3 in Greenville, TX for 32 years. Kellie married Jim Hesseltine on August 30, 1980 in Greenville, TX and they had two children, son Blake Hesseltine and daughter Kendal Hesseltine Williams. Survivors are her husband Jim Hesseltine, son Blake Hesseltine and fiancé Amanda, daughter Kendal Williams and husband Tracy, step-mother Sandy Sorrells, sister Ronna Guerra, brother Jay Sorrells and wife Amy, daughter-in-law Savannah Hesseltine, grandchildren Jaxon Hesseltine, Kenleigh Hesseltine and Saylor Williams, sister-in-law Debby Hesseltine Hassell Douglas, brother-in-law Mark Hesseltine. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents Jimmy Sorrells and Rochelle Gardner, father-in-law and mother-in-law Les and Joy Hesseltine, grandparents Emmitt and Isabella Sorrells, and John D. and Velma Kelly, niece Heather Hester, and sister-in- law Sandy Johnson. Kellie had the greatest love for her family and was a special Tedo or Tata to her three grandchildren. She always was there for them for the fun and games. They were her world. Kellie had so many friends that will miss her for the wonderful times they shared. Kellie enjoyed life and loved being with people of all ages. She loved playing pickleball among other sports. She was always the one that was helping anyone who needed help. Kellie lived life to the fullest and we celebrate the dash between the day she entered this world and the day she left to go to her eternal home. Her wish for everyone would be to enjoy every day that God gives us on this earth and be Happy!! There will be a Celebration of Life for our precious Kellie at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
