Obituary

Kenneth "Ken" Ray Hollis of Quinlan, Texas, passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on November 21, 1960, in Victoria, Texas, Kenneth was the beloved son of Aubrey Hollis and Elsie Westfahl. Throughout his life, Kenneth was known for his kind heart, easygoing nature, and willingness to help anyone in need. He was a quiet man by nature, but once you got him talking, it was often difficult to get him to stop. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a true jokester who rarely took life too seriously. His ability to make others laugh and see the lighter side of things was one of the many qualities that made him so special. Kenneth found great joy in ranching and caring for his cows. He loved spending time outdoors and took pride in the simple pleasures of country life. Whether lending a helping hand to a friend, sharing a story, or tending to his ranch, Kenneth lived with a generous spirit and a genuine appreciation for the people and things he loved. He is survived by his daughters, April Davis and husband Tyler of Terrell, Texas, and Jayde Davies and husband Aaron of Greenville, Texas; his son, Gage Hollis; and his cherished grandchildren, Addisyn, Colton, Austin, Juniper, and Koda. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Hollis and Elsie Westfahl; his sister, Cindy; and his beloved dog, Bud, who was a faithful companion for many years. Kenneth will be remembered for his humor, his generous heart, his love of ranch life, and the countless memories he created with family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of kindness, laughter, and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date to celebrate Kenneth's life and honor the memories he shared with those who loved him.
