Kenneth "Jerome" Strickland passed away on Christmas night. He was born on June 25, 1967, to Patsy McCoy-Strickland in Dallas TX. Jerome was a deeply loved son, father, Papa, and friend. His intelligence, faith, confidence, quick wit, and capacity for love, led him to a host of close loved ones from all walks of life. He touched many lives and his legacy lives on in those who were gifted the chance to love him. He is survived by his mother: Patsy Carson of Royse City; daughter: Shelby Strickland-Vega of Rockwall; brothers: Kevin Strickland, and Scott Carson; aunts: Donna Ramsden, and Debbie Ray; grandchildren: Jesse Rome Vega, and Dani Lynn Bates; many more loving family members, and a host of loving friends. Jerome is preceded in death by grandparents: Trudy and Bob Tucker; and cousin Christian Jenkins.
