Kevin William Morrison, age 77, of Celeste, Texas, passed away on September 27, 2024. Kevin was born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 10, 1947, to parents Francis and Marie (Head) Morrison. Kevin joined the Navy after high school and proudly served for six years before settling in Atlanta, Georgia, where he met his future wife Patty (O'Hara). Kevin and Patty enjoyed traveling and lived in multiple states with their four children before settling in Texas in 1989. He had a successful career as a systems engineer with EDS in Plano, Texas where he worked for 29 years before retiring in 2014. Kevin was a passionate motorcycle enthusiast and found joy traveling with his wife, Patty on their motorcycles. He also had a deep love for animals, often bringing home strays and caring for countless dogs, cats, hamsters and birds throughout his life. Above all, he was a devoted family man, cherishing every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his kindness, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers Keith (and Pamela) Morrison, William (and Margie) Morrison, and his sister Robin Morrison; children Carmen (and Mike) Morris, Amanda (and Ken) Mahrt, Genna Jackson, and Benjamin (and Charisse) Morrison; grandchildren Joshua Morris, Devon Jackson, Jacklynn Jackson, Ty Jackson, Jason Mahrt, Nathan Mahrt, Alex Morrison and Lily Morrison; many nieces and nephews, and a host of loving extended family and friends. No formal services have been scheduled.
