Kristen Lea Culverhouse, 71, passed away on September 24, 2024. She was born on May 28, 1953, to Preston and Leta Frances Epperson, in Dallas, Texas. Kristen was a cherished member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church, where she helped with their Special Friends Program. She also worked with Celebrate Recovery Children's Programs. She devoted her life to helping and loving family and others in need. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years: J.R. Culverhouse; son: James Culverhouse; Daughter: Kindra Neal; her grandchildren: Michael and wife Lexi, Joshua, David, and Rachel; as well as her great grand daughter: Aubrey. Kristen is preceded in death by her parents, and three siblings. She will be deeply missed, and the light she brought to the world will always be remembered by every soul she touched throughout her life, but most of all she will be missed by her own family, of which she was the center of their joy. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 10am on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville, TX.
