Kyle Steven Payne Kyle Steven Payne, 72, of Quinlan, Texas, formerly of Caddo Mills, passed away on August 19, 2026. He was born on October 31, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, to Wanda (Lyday) Payne and Daniel Harold Payne. Kyle spent many years helping manage Payne's Furniture, his parents' family-owned store. Through his work and throughout his life, Kyle had a way of making people feel welcome. He never met a stranger and was well known for his quick wit, humor, and ability to bring a smile to those around him. Family was especially important to Kyle, and he cherished the time spent with those he loved. He is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Melton and Kendall Melton of Caddo Mills; grandson, Austin Melton of Caddo Mills; great-grandson, Creed Daniel Melton; his beloved dog, Ladybug; along with numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him dearly. Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda (Lyday) Payne and Daniel Harold Payne. There will be a Funeral at 1:00 on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to service at noon. Interment will follow service at IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills.
