Leigh Anne Brown, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 24th in Greenville, Texas after a long illness. Leigh Anne was born to Charles and Doris Tillery on July 15, 1960 in Greenville, Texas. She attended school in Greenville and was a 1st Major in the Flaming Flashes drill team. Leigh Anne married Chuck Brown on October 11, 1980. They had one daughter, Katelyn Delaney. Leigh Anne worked at the First Bank of Celeste and led children's church at First Baptist Church of Celeste. She also worked at Cherry's Christian Bookstore and was a receptionist at Greenville Christian School. For many years she was a faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Leigh Anne loved to travel and spend time with her family, cherishing every memory she made along the way. She was known for her bright smile and sweet personality. Leigh Anne is survived by her loving husband of almost 46 years Chuck Brown, her daughter Katelyn Delaney, her grandsons Evan and Branden Delaney, her sister Amy Tillery, mother-in-law Cherry Brown, sister-in-law Rhonda Shurtleff, and nieces Staci Forman and Darby Musha and their families along with many friends and family who loved her so. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tyson (in 1963), her grandparents, her father-in-law-Charles Brown, and her Godparents Charles and Mariana Robertson. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Lynch Funeral Home, 4238 Hwy 34, in Greenville, Texas on Tuesday, July 28th at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 1:00 pm.
