Obituary

Linda Nell Wren Fuller, 79, of Wills Point, TX, went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2026, following a courageous battle with health issues. Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry; children Sherry (Bobby) Neal, Dana (Steve) Collyar, Lisa (Frank) Holomshek, and Derek (Dieanna) Fuller; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and childhood friend Shirley Barr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Sybil Wren. Linda was known for her resilience, wit, and spicy sense of humor bringing joy and stories to all who knew her. At a young age, Linda spent time with her aunts and uncles in Palestine, TX. She left school in the 9th grade to care for her mother and later went on to receive her GED. Her journey with Jerry began one cold evening in 1971 when he and his mom were having breakfast at Brownies Restaurant after a night of playing guitar. He noticed her walk in with a girlfriend. He took his mom home after breakfast and rushed back asking to buy her breakfast and choosing the seat right next to her and from that moment on, they began their life together. Once married, Jerry and Linda built a dedicated blended family, bringing together Dana, Sherry, and Lisa, and later welcoming their son, Derek, in December 1972. Linda was a homemaker and held multiple jobs over the years including Skillern's Drug Store, Podiatrist Office Manager, Gift Shops Sales, 7-Eleven, Sonic Manager and Photography Processing Store. Over the span of 55 years of marriage, the family moved throughout Texas including Parker, Garland, Quinlan, Rockwall and finally settled in Wills Point. Linda found joy in the simplest pleasures, but her greatest loves were Jesus, family, fishing, the Dallas Cowboys, bingo, horse races, scratch-offs, and trips to the casino. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, who find peace in knowing that this is not the end of her story.
