Linda Lee Livingston, age 82, of Greenville, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2025. She was born on December 4, 1942, in Athens, Texas, to Lendon and Ruby (McCool) Baker. Linda's life was one of service, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and community. She dedicated many years to working with the Salvation Army and later retired from a long and meaningful career as a social worker. Her commitment to helping others defined her life and left a lasting impact on everyone she served. Linda was married to her beloved husband, James, for 61 years. Together, they built a strong and loving family rooted in faith, kindness, and generosity. She is survived by her son, Jamie Livingston and his wife Tina; her daughter, Joannie Wilkinson and husband Joe. Linda was a proud grandmother to Tyler, Justin and his wife Monica, Lindsey and her husband Jon Erik, Haley, and Hanna and her husband Bryan. She also leaves behind eight cherished great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her great joy. Proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Jerald, Charlie and Billy Baker. Linda's life was a shining example of what it means to care deeply—for family, for community, and for those in need. Her warmth, strength, and quiet generosity will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, Texas.
