Louis Robert Hale, 71, of Greenville, passed away on the morning of July 21, 2024. Louis was born on April 1, 1953, to May Alcott and Robert M Hale in Fort Worth, Texas. Louis proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force where he served in Vietnam and flew with the Blue Angels. After leaving the service, he worked in construction before landing work at UPS for 15 years. Louis had many hobbies including fishing, hunting, and going to swap meets to find treasures. He would attend Renaissance Faires with his wife Edna, and Lisa and Charlie King. Louis was mechanically inclined, and loved animals, especially his little dog, Roxie. Louis is survived by his wife, Edna Hale; daughter, Amanda Everett and Kenny; son-in-law, Jerry Copeland and Stacey; grandchildren: Lauren, Hailey, Brad; step grandchildren: Justin, Rachel, Tori; and 3 great grandchildren. Louis is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Bettye Hale, brother, Richard Hale, and stepdaughter, Donia Copeland.
