Mae McClanahan, 85, of Greenville, TX passed away on September 28th, 2021. She was born to Basil and Edra Christy on November 27th, 1935 in Bancroft, West Virginia. Mae enjoyed baking pies, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and good friends. Mae is survived by her daughter Christy Howard of Greenville, TX and stepdaughter Doresa McClanahan of Greenville, TX; grandchildren: Amy, Laci, Quenten, Alesha, Nick, and Matthew from Sulphur Springs; her little hearts Kiley, Alex and Brinley Mae from Sulphur Springs, TX; beloved sister, Janet Fewell; nephew, Bryan Fewell and wife Kelli; great nephew Aaron Fewell and little buddy Tucker from Winfield, West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her husband Dorsey McClanahan, son Philip Cooper, infant daughter Janet Cooper all of Greenville, TX and her parents of Bancroft, West Virginia. A graveside service will be held at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville Texas at 11:00 am, on Tuesday October 5th, 2021. Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons Quenten, Nick, and Matthew, and dear friends Warren Metcalf, Jacob Metcalf, and Colton Collins.
