Margie Marie Little, of Quinlan, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born on July 17, 1939, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Pearl Latimer and Oscar Boren. Margie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dedicated much of her life to caring for and serving her family. As a homemaker, she was known for always making sure everyone was fed and cared for. Her home was a place of warmth, love, and good food, and she especially enjoyed cooking and baking for those she loved. At Christmas, her banana, zucchini, and pumpkin breads were special treats that brought family together. Margie also had a love for music and faithfully played the piano at church. She was a woman of deep devotion whose faith, generosity, and caring spirit touched the lives of many. She was especially supportive of her husband throughout his years as a firefighter and took great pride in standing beside him and supporting his work. Margie will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kim Perkins and Craig of Quinlan, Kristin Switzer of Princeton, Daveyd Little of Quinlan, and Kilbey Little and Cheyenne of Quinlan; great-grandchildren Tyler, Caden, Leighton, Amelia, Alister, and Amara; along with many cousins, extended family members, and a host of loving friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Little; daughter, Theresa Little; sons, Stephen Little and Gary Little; and great-grandson, Cody Perkins. Margie's love and care for her family will remain a lasting part of the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held Monday, August 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills, Texas, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at West Memorial Cemetery in Quinlan, Texas.
