Michael Dean
Domenici
Jul 18, 1950 — May 24, 2026
Michael Dean Domenici, age 75, of Quinlan, Texas, passed away on May 24, 2026. Born on July 18, 1950, in Dallas, Texas. Michael lived a full life marked by hard work, a quick wit, and love for family. Mike graduated from W.W. Samuell High School and went on to live a life defined by hard work and simple joys. He was a skilled welder who retired from Texas Instruments, known by coworkers as "Domino", but that was just one chapter. Over the years he worked as a butcher, baled hay, and mowed pastures — always using his hands and his back to provide for the people he loved. But if you really want to know who Mike was, you have to talk about his passions. He loved horses. He traded them, rode them, and could spend hours at equipment auctions looking for that next good deal. Most of all, he was a master storyteller. Mike could turn the simplest day into a hilarious tale. He had a gift for poking fun — always in good spirits — and lighting up a room with his laughter. If you were around Mike for more than five minutes, you were probably smiling or shaking your head at one of his stories. He is survived by his children: Delmeta, Emerson, Frank and wife,Crystle, Steven and wife, Molly, and Dena and husband, Brad. He is also survived by his brother, Tommy, and a large, loving family of grandchildren, who called him Poppa, including: Chris, Josh, Eric, Matthew, Melissa, Christen, Heather, Ashton, Wyatt, Tucker, Stephanie, James, Samantha, Jamie, Amber, Kaelyn, Dakota, Garrett and Macie, and many other beloved great-grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Lometa Domenici; his daughter, Belinda Morrison; his parents, Kathren and Fred Crisp; his uncle, Durwood Baird; his mother, Pauline Kirkpatrick; and his sister, Gwen Bailey. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Service, 4238 TX-34, Greenville, Texas 75402. Pastor Butch Bruton will officiate. Today we say goodbye to a man who lived life on his own terms — with calloused hands, a quick wit, and a heart that was bigger than most people knew.
