Nancy Gale Burns (Fouse) died on September 17th, 2021 in Greenville, Texas at the age of 74. Nancy is survived by her 5 children, Casey Burns and wife Cindy of Mountain Home, Idaho; Kelly Burns and wife Ashley of Como, Texas; Michael Burns and wife Dana of Royse City, Texas; Jeffery Burns and wife Monica of Greenville, Texas; Terri Chapin and husband George of Royse City, Texas; 5 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 1 great- grandson; stepfather, Cecil Hill of Nevada, Texas; stepsisters, Renee Gracy and husband Jim of Blue Ridge, Texas; Brenda Crane and husband Duane of Middleton, Tennessee; stepbrother, Glenn Hill and wife Rebecca of Afton, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents. Nancy was born on January 10th, 1947 in Leonard, Texas to GW and Jimmie Lee Fouse. She attended school in Dallas, Texas, where she graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1965. She married Terry Burns in 1967. She spent the next 24 years as a homemaker, raising her family in Ladonia, Texas, then later in Pittsburgh, Rockwall, and Royse City. At 42 years old, Nancy re-entered the workforce as a newly-single mother. Shortly after, she moved to Caddo Mills, Texas, where she lived for the remainder of her life. Even though she excelled at her work outside the home, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She loved family game nights, laughing at old stories of years past, and cutting up with anyone who would join her. She loved going out for a delicious meal, but she could also cook one as well. She was an excellent cook, and loved to share a meal with her family. She loved to travel. She was always ready for a road trip, and shared many adventures over the years with her children and grandchildren. Nothing brought her joy like spending time with her children and grandchildren. Nancy's children would like to invite family and friends to join them in remembering their mother and celebrating her life on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rose Community Center, 239 Quitman Street, in Emory, Texas.
