Born on December 21, 1931, in Wellington, Texas, to Everett and Daisy (Squires) Neal, Norman lived a life full of love, service, and joy. A Registered Public Land Surveyor and the owner of his own business, Field Aid Inc., Norman dedicated his professional life to helping others. Norman had a big personality and was known for his kindness and ability to make friends wherever he went. He loved people and was often referred to as a "Dad" by many throughout the years. A man who adored life, he had a passion for bowling in his younger years, often participating in league games. Norman's love for music and his deep faith in Jesus were central to who he was. His marriage to Naomi Ruth (Lawson) Neal, his beloved "Babe," was one of the greatest joys of his life. Together, they spent 64 wonderful years until Naomi's passing in 2013. Norman's love for her and his commitment to their family was a beautiful example of enduring devotion. Norman is survived by his daughters, Lavelle Holmes, Sharon Baum, Linda Wynn, Jan "Sweetie Pie" Neal, Kay Fletcher, Renee Martin, sons, Donald Ray Neal, Norman Neal Jr., 20 grandkids, 44 great grandkids and 20 great great-grand kids, along with a legacy of love, laughter, and faith that will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, Naomi Ruth, grandson, Donnie Neal, great grandson, Zachary Holmes, and two brothers.
