O.T. Neal, 86, of Nevada, Texas, passed away surrounded by his family on April 10, 2022. O.T. was born to O.T. Sr. and Irene Neal on June 4, 1935, in Greenville, Texas. O.T. was the 3rd child of 9 children, 5 girls and 4 boys in total. After graduating from Community High School in 1954, he went to work for Kraft Foods for 30 years, retiring at the age of 55. O.T. was very passionate about his family. He was devoted to mechanic work and gardening, including building his own home. He was a Deacon of the Nevada Baptist Church, as well as the music director and a member of the choir. He is survived by; Maxine (Birdie) Spearman, Barbara Caldwell, Jeanie Edwards, JoAnne Bird, Bobby (Shorty) Neal and numerous nieces and nephews that were loved as his own. He is preceded in death by his parents; Irene Spears and O.T. Neal Sr. and siblings; Jimmy (Jim) Spears Neal, William (Wig) Reeves Neal, and Anita Elizabeth Ellenburg. There will be a visitation Wednesday April 13, 2022, at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills Texas from 6 to 8 P.M. The following day there will be a graveside service at Nevada Cemetery on Thursday April 14, 2022, at 2 P.M. His nephews will be pallbearers.
