Pat Williams Hicks II, of Leonard, Texas, went to his Heavenly home on February 1, 2022 at the age of 52. Our hearts are completely broken by the unexpected passing of our Pat, loving husband, father, and bonus father. Pat was born on July 25, 1969 in Grayson County to Pat Williams Hicks and Laura Marie Chandler. He retired from Cytec Industries after 28 years in 2017. He always had a joke to tell and knew exactly how to make those around him laugh, feel loved, and feel seen. He enjoyed spending his days with his family and "the pups," cheering on the Cowboys, always being outdoors, riding his side-by-side alone and also with his riding gang, and taking his metallic, blue Corvette "out for a spin." Pat was so many things but above all he was our family's pillar of leadership, strength, and true example of what it was to love unconditionally. Everyone who encountered Pat encountered these things and because of this he will always remain within our lives and in our hearts. Pat is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by the love of his life and wife, Chastity Marie Hicks; his sons pride and joy of his life Blake and Brent Hicks; bonus daughters Joanna Valentin and husband Angel, Vanessa Rico, and Ciarra Rico and fiancée Esmeralda Sanchez; grandgiggles Analia and Leonor Valentin; nieces Macie and Jacie Morales and Kyrsten Hicks; nephew Casen Morales; sister Angela Kennington and husband Kevin; and mother of his sons Deann Cooper. Our hearts and lives will never ever be the same without him, but we know he is with us forever and watching over us always with our Heavenly Father.
