Patricia Ann (Holt) Cox, 77, of Sachse, Texas passed away on February 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 30, 1945, to Thomas Eugene and Frances Juanita (Heavin) Holt in Davis, OK. Pat loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of the Rodgers Baptist Church in Garland. She liked to collect angels and was known to have a green thumb. She had a great sense of humor, loved others, and was a sweet, tender lady. She didn't let anyone go hungry and had the best hugs. Most of all she was a family-oriented lady. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pat is survived by her children; Lori McEntyre and husband Ed, Tammie Benton and husband Malcolm, Tommy Cox and wife Marsha, and David Huber, grandchildren; Justin McEntyre and wife Courtni, Jacob McEntyre and wife Kellye, Crystal Mefford and husband John, Malcolm Benton Jr., Bryan Cox and wife Alex, Meagan Burke and husband Walter, Bradley Cox and wife Nikki, great-grandchildren; Embrye McEntyre, Koler McEntyre, Garrett Mefford, Savannah Mefford, Camryn Mefford, Elijah Cox, Jeremiah Valles, Layton Garcia, Liam Garcia, Averie Garcia, Layton Burke, Landyn Burke, Nova Cox, Kenzo Cox, Lyric Norman, Sariah Falkner, Aristea Atherholt, Priseis Atherholt, brother; Ronny Holt, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of loving relatives and friends. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Peggy Dearing, Joyce Johnston, and Barbara Holt. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills, Texas. A Visitation will begin one hour prior at 9:00 AM.
