Patsy Ann McKenney, 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Greenville, Texas, on January 29, 2026. A lifelong resident of Greenville, Patsy was born on August 22, 1948. She lived a life defined by independence, a sharp wit, and a love for the open road. For many years, Patsy navigated the highways as an 18-wheeler driver, a career that perfectly matched her adventurous spirit. When she wasn't behind the wheel, she found joy in the freedom of motorcycles, the quiet focus of a good book, and the challenge of complex puzzles. A loyal fan of Jeopardy!, Patsy's quick mind was often a match for any contestant on the screen. Patsy is survived by her three daughters: Angela Collins; Si-An Nava and husband Victor; and Sanjala Ercum and husband Kerry. She also leaves behind her sisters, Mary Brooks and Deborah Rhodes; her brother John Rhodes Jr.; her most beloved person and constant light, Breanna; and a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Rick Speiler; and her sisters: Carolyn Sue, Marilyn Kay, and Elizabeth Jean. Patsy will be remembered as a woman who paved her own path and lived life on her own terms, leaving behind a legacy of strength and cherished memories.
