Patsy Carol (Thompson) Jones lovingly know to her friends and family as "Pat" or "Granny Pat" passed away on April 13, 2021 in Farmersville, Texas. She was 70 years old. She was born on January 15, 1951 to William Charles and Early B. (Kernell) Thompson in Russellville, Alabama. Pat worked as a Secretary or in Accounts Payable for various companies throughout the years. She genuinely loved and cared for her family, placing them before anything else in her life. She will be remembered for truly being the Matriarch, the one everyone went to, the "glue" that held the family together. She could be found going out to eat with her loving husband, playing dominoes or cards with any of the family members, or out shopping with the girls. She leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends. Pat is survived by her loving husband of more than 30 years, David Jones; children, Tommy Smith and his wife Yvonne, Michael Gomez and his wife Angela, Lisa Jannise; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son; a brother; and 2 sisters. The family will host a private memorial service at a later date. Private Service Wednesday, April 14, 2021
