Obituary

Peggy Pace, age 81, of Wolfe City, Texas, peacefully passed away on August 9, 2026, surrounded by family. Born on January 5, 1945, in Marshall, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of the late Oley and Cecil Cleveland. She married Lloyd Pace on July 16, 1985. Peggy lived a life rooted in Christ. Her happiest hours were spent in the kitchen cooking for her family, baking her traditional Christmas cookies, or outdoors tending to her flower garden. She possessed an extraordinary green thumb and could truly make flowers bloom out of concrete. Just as she nurtured her garden with endless patience and care, she poured that same unconditional love into her family. Her greatest joy in life was her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She especially loved vacationing together as a family. She treasured every moment spent playing, laughing, and sharing stories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving them with a legacy of cherished memories that will last a lifetime. She is survived by her daughters, Ginger (Tillman) Bostick, and Amye (Dean) Andrews; her grandchildren, Chaffin (Jessica) Andrews, Tanner (Kayla) Bostick, Sarah (Guner) Booth, and Hunter (Shelby) Bostick as well as eight great-grandchildren: Brannan, Emmie, Brooks, Walker, Hayes, Callen, Leeland, and Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Pace, and her great-grandson, Parker. At Peggy's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity of your choice.
