Peter Shevchenko was born June 27th 1959. He was a devoted husband, amazing father, and all-star grandfather. He loved and cherished his family and served God faithfully. He never shied away from preaching, serving those around him, a prayer warrior that loved the guitar. In 2025 he received a diagnosis that shook the family. Through the past 11 months he fought valiantly and prayed without ceasing. He never gave up or lost his faith. He was faithful to the end. On July 21st 2026 our good Lord called him home. Where I am certain he heard those words we all long to hear one day, "Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'"
