Obituary

Raphael Angel Sanchez was born on July 16, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. Many people knew him as Ralph but the people closest to him knew as "Chappy" and "Papa". He left this earthly home peacefully in his sleep on November 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, hard work, and a love of winning the marble game. He had a special talent to be able to build anything you could imagine, and fix up anything into working order. He happily spent his weekends with his grandkids playing card games, cooking Puerto Rican delicacies, and spending time with his great grandkids thrifting new projects to create. He had a passion for cooking and eating good food and playing games with his family. He had a huge heart and spent all of his time in service to others. Ralph is survived by his daughters Gina Rhoden, Kimberly Keller, Sherri Hanks, Laurie Renna, Linda Sanchez, and Wendy Jankowski, his son Michael Lechuga, his grandkids, Brooke Duran, Melanie Allen, Ciara Manning, Jacob Stucki, Luke Stucki, Hayden Hanks, Jared Hanks, Lindsay Hanks, AJ Keller, Zachary Keller, Nicole Renna, Sara Renna, Jennifer Renna, Rachel Renna, Brenden Lechuga, Derren Lechuga, Michael Jankowski, Talia Steadman, Joshua Flynn, John Garbutt, Danielle Logston, and his great grandchildren Carter Stucki, Kai Chung, Rory Duran, Loki Allen, Link Allen, Lucian Manning, Koda Keller, Sonny Lechuga, Siena Lechuga, Kaeden Hartung,Konnor Hartung, Kayden Flynn, Lylah Jankowski, Paisley Jankowski, and Carter Jankowski He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Sanchez, son Christopher Sanchez and his grandsons Ryan Renna and Jake Keller. The world has lost a great man, full of life and laughter, but his wife, our Nana, is smiling up in heaven having the love of her life back in her arms. He will be remembered for his hilarious sarcasm and jokes, but most importantly for the love of his family. A graveside service will be held to honor Ralph's life on Monday, November 18th at 11:30 AM at IOOF Cemetery. The address for service is 1117 E. 7th Street in Georgetown, Texas.
