Robert Dale Allen, 72, of Royse City passed away on June 8, 2023. He was born on October 22, 1950 in Dallas to Ivan Dale and Joan Loraine Allen. After graduating high school, Robert went on to serve in the United States Navy. When leaving the service, he became a plumber and electrician and was known to be a "jack of all trades." Robert was an avid movie fan who had an extensive collection of movies. Those who knew and loved Robert knew that you had better be ready to "sit a spell" when he wanted to talk about something. He was a rough man who had lived a hard life and is now at peace. Robert is survived by his son, Rusty Allen of Fate; daughter, Dusty Broadfoot & husband Ted of Heath; brothers: Ricky Allen of Josephine, Tony Allen of Flowermound; and sister Diane Parrish of Josephine. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Avaline Rose Allen-Cravey; and brother, Donny Allen. There will be a family memorial service at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 3, 2023 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.
