Ruth Elizabeth Speir Kuehn passed away on December 14, 2022. She was born on March 20, 1937, to Andrew Montgomery Spier and Willie Mae Freeman Speir. For 57 years she was married to Karl Phillip Kuehn with whom she travelled all seven continents twice, their favorites being Ireland, the Caribbean and Antarctica. Ruth loved people and made many friends during her travels who would remember her each time she came back to visit. She also loved books and was an avid reader. Ruth is survived by her children: Clayton Kuehn and his wife Shay, Kathryn Kuehn, Karl Phillip Kuehn II and his wife Maritza, Charla O'Brien and her husband Dave, grandchildren: Clayton, Amanda, Victoria, Cheyenne, Carlos, Marco, Raechel, Andrew, Samuel, Karey, Charlie, Kewpie, eleven great grandchildren, Linda Moore, Deon Woodward, Cheryl Speir-Phillips, Montie Speir, Brian Speir, Jeannette Perry, Nancy Speir and a host of friends. Ruth is preceded in death by her beloved husband Karl, a sister; LaMonte Doleman and two brothers; Archie Speir and Bill Speir.
