Sherry Jean Johnston, age 74, passed away on February 9, 2025. Born on March 24, 1950, to J.R., Jr. and Frankie (Griffith) Johnston in San Antonio, Texas. Sherry was a kind and creative soul who brought warmth to all those around her. She had a deep love for animals and a passion for arts and crafts, especially painting and knitting. Sherry is survived by her sister, June Jordan of Menard, Texas; niece, Kerry Jordan Buie and husband Dan of Menard, Texas; and great nieces, Jordan Sharp of Menard, Texas, and Jules Sharp of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father, J.R. Johnston Jr., her mother, Frankie Ann (Griffith) Johnston Johnson, her brother-in-law, Jack Jordan, and her nephew, Shawn Jordan. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel. Sherry will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of creativity, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met.
